Note to Society

Don't wake me up,
Before I start dreaming;
But don't tell me no,
When I've grown up believing.

When I ask for the truth,
Don't tell me a lie.
But don't tell me I can't,
When all I want is to try.

Don't limit my imagination,
Even if it does seem over the top.
Let me walk, run and fall,
Just don't make me stop.

Whatever age I might be,
Don't stop me from being a child.
Don't tell me to behave,
Before I get the chance to be wild.

Let me live once
Before I die.
In this adventure called life,
Just be my ally.
