My Idol

When it seems,

The world can't understand,

Your grandfather's there,

To hold your hand.

A grandfather isn't only your role model,

He is your best friend.

So, as much time as possible,

With him you should spend!

Grandfather by any name means love-

And lots of it!

He will pamper you, take care of you,

Even when you throw a fit.

The best place to be when you're sad,

Is grandpa's lap.

Oh! The feeling of being with him,

Is just so fab!

All my tension drains out,

At a very fast pace,

The moment I think of,

My granddad's face! 

Nobody can do for little children,

What grandfather's do.

What makes them so kind,

I really have no clue!

Grandfather's are for loving,

And fixing things.

You're just the wind,

Beneath their wings.

A grandfather is someone with silver in his hair,

And gold in his heart,

You know he's watching over you,

Whether you're together or apart!
