Soaring High

Above the horizon, is a kite,

Up high, flying in the open sky without any fright,

Blue,green, yellow and red,
Making tree tops, it's bed,
Ah, what an amazing sight,
To see it fly by like a star at night.


They visit new places everyday,
And then rest when they find something soft on which to lay,
Till they are awoken by strong wind blowing on their face,
It is very tough to keep up with their pace,
My, my, floating in the air, they look like a flying tray.

Above mountains and hills,
Over seas and glaciers which give chills,
Competing against birds,
And tickling small cow herds,
And then finally lands on the road,
Where a child finds it and never gets bored.
